The senior brother who was already there has already expended all of his energy in the fight before the mc showed up. Senior sister wasted no time to get involved and also lost quickly. MC has only just achieved Heaven realm and also has a few mc cheats to power up, like the spirit gathering rune. He also learned some stuff from fighting the she-demon Meiling the first time. Add what he learned from the Noble Tree Spirit and stuff he learned from his "inner world" where all those old timers are imprisoned and mc has the strength to overwhelm even the senior sister and senior brother in a fair fight.
As to little sister with the Asura Body, she is an almost unique OP rare body type...the Asura Spirit Body, so she can fight the other demon, but she is weaker.

As to disappearing stuff, its pretty common in cultivation stories. mc works hard to gain new stuff, powers, techniques, pets, magic items etc., but almost as soon as they get them, mc will use it once and then move on to wistfully hope fore more stuff. Many of the stories center around the quest to gain new/more/better toys. It never makes any sense. Its like cultivator math. They can't fucking do numbers at all. None of the numbers make any sense.
